Hello from Massachusetts, about to become a new teacher!

Hello all! I have been a student of Yoga off and on for about 8 years. Over the course of the past year, my practice has intensified and, along with many other changes in my life, I have made the decision to attend a teacher training this August. I am hoping to begin teaching in the Boston/S. New Hampshire area this September!

Welcome to the forums! That’s exciting that you’re taking a training, good for you

That’s great! I’m a newbie here, too. Did my ytt at Kripalu in Massachusetts, actually. Teacher training is both intense and extremely rewarding. Enjoy!

Wonderful!
May your journey bring great merit
to all sentient beings!

Namaste,
Nancy

I’ve heard a lot of great things about that training. I will be at the Frog Lotus Studio for Vinyasa and Hatha training in N. Adams, MA.

Thank you, I appreciate the sentiment!

Good luck!

It is has been great to meet you, so thank you for jumping right in and adding what you have so far. I look forward to reading more

Nichole

thank you for jumping right in and adding what you have so far

I feel like I have a lot to say! But a lot of times I’m not sure if it is the right thing to say, there are so many others on here with way more experience and education in this area, so most of my posts are just my little opinion. Hoping to learn a lot more this summer though!

I look forward to reading more

Have you taken a look at my blog?

@AK: Hello, again :slight_smile:

Right or wrong, right-ish or wrong-ish…I find for myself that if I stay here, then I have a difficult time in my personal practices. I get stuck in the rights and the wrongs and it becomes more difficult to be flexible, to deepen, to open and to hear my Sadguru (inner teacher). I definitely feel the awkwardness and groundless in trying to let go of the “rights and the wrongs”, to build a friendliness to that dynamic free-fall, but stay in practice with this because I know now, from my Yogasadhana and my blessed teachers, that it is here where ALL that is possible, ALL that is limitless is available to me, to us all.

As you continue to grow in your own practice, and you are continued to be called to share with others through your writing and teaching, never underestimate how important your personal experience will be for others who relate to you—shared experiences, shared practices are such treasures. Sangha (spiritual community) is one of the three jewels of Buddhism and paramount in Yogasadhana (spiritual practice of Yoga) for a reason, because those generous Rishis and Buddhas knew what they rest of us would need to support us on our spiritual paths. You are an integral part of this too, at any point on your personal path–know this

I haven’t had a chance to take look at your blog yet–thank you for the invitation to.

Cheerful day to you,
Nichole
