My name is Lori and I have been doing yoga for a little over six months. My practice consists of structured classes with daily work at home.
My only regret is that I didn’t start 20 years ago instead of waiting until my early 40’s.

Wishing you a warm welcome to the forum Lori and all happiness in your blossoming practice.
Hey there, I started when I was 20 and felt the same way, because I wished that my parents had brought me up that way.
I can also regret the times I failed to practise and deviated from my dharma.
I relate to what you are saying about the regrets. I am of the opinion that one never reaches enlightenment and that we simply drift back and forth in and out of yoga.
It is pleasurable to slip from yoga in a sybaritic fashion, and then it is divine to bring oneself back again.
Welcome to the forum. I hope that we can augment each others’ practises.
All the best!
Lori, its great that you are here with us! I hope you experience the joy and fulfillment that the transformative effect of yoga can bring to your life.
What got you started? What got you hooked?
