Ok, unfortunately your not going to stop hair loss with Yoga, no matter what anyone has told you. I would say, either get hair replacement, or just embrace what you’ve got. Shave your head, and be proud!!!
If you want to loose weight and flatten your stomach, you will need to make sure your diet is clean. Eat plenty of vegetables, fruit, nuts, seeds, fish, poultry, and plenty of water.
Also you are unlikely to loose much fat unless you get your metabolism pumping. To do this you should be looking at doing cardio daily, and include some strength training. Yoga will help loosen you up and might help you relax and sleep (sleep is crucial for recovery and hormone balance), but it is not going to get you in good shape alone. Good luck, and enjoy getting in shape!!

There are many other causes for which hair loss is a symptom above and beyond a genetic predisposition, and some of these, tension, stress, hormonal imbalance, inadequate blood circulation, diet, manageable disease, just to name a few, may well respond to, or be improved, even remedied with yogic efforts.

Let us look at stress in men, which can trigger androgenic hormones to tighten the scalp, making hair thinner, and more susceptible to loss. Yoga can help.
Yogic living and meditative moments work wonders with stress and tension and may well assist you if this is an underlying cause of what you deem a problem. Also the acceptance of yourself, being non-judgmental, accepting your impermanence (hair today, gone tomorrow) may help you to laugh and rise above it being a matter.

Inadequate blood circulation to the scalp? Yoga can help.
Here inversion efforts, and rich flow of breath are going to increase the quality and quantity of oxygenated blood and energy to the head, collaterally assisting in the reduction tension and stress.

Traditionally- Yoga can help.
Traditionally these poses, to name a few, have been credited with helping keep hair healthy, perhaps because they include inversions, and neck tension relief efforts.
Postures like Downward- Facing Dog, Standing Forward Bend, Shoulderstand, Headstand, Camel pose, Cobra pose and Cow Pose have all been credited with healthy hair.

Immune system, underlying ailments that may be contributing to your hair loss?Yoga can help.

It goes without saying that you should consult your medical team of qualified professionals when battling any ailment but yes yoga can help with establishing overall health and the strengthening of the immune system. Many battling deseases linked with hair loss are well to find yoga an ally.
Here your restorative asanas, and cardiovascular building vinyasa are going to be your go to efforts.

Yes yoga can help.

Inversion poses might help towards hairloss because they bring blood to head. Worth trying…

As for loosing weight diet/cardio is important. But if you complement this with Yoga effect will be profound in physical and psychological terms.

Remember you need to get advise from a good teacher. You can do the same by reading books as well but you learn mostly by falling. Iyengar’s light on yoga and Satyananda Saraswathi’s book are the best resources as is this forum.

Massage improves circulation, which in turn improves the health of your hair and scalp. A few drops of vitamin E oil massaged into the scalp is recommended to strengthen fragile hair and help prevent dry, flaky skin.

Give yourself a daily massage for 5-10 minutes to stimulate circulation, which is vital for healthy hair growth. Using your fingers (knuckles), work over the surface of the scalp, temples and back of the head, applying pressure in circular movements. Yoga exercises such as headstand is another excellent way of stimulating blood flow to the hair follicles.

To relieve tension in the scalp and to promote healthy looking hair, try this Indonesian massage technique

Stand with your feet apart and slowly breathe in and out.

Gently lean forward from waist, curving your spine, until your head is just below waist level.

Keeping your legs straight, gently rap your scalp all over with your knuckles for half a minute.

Slowly raise your body and repeat the rapping in an upright position.

Neck Exercises.

Turn your head to the left 3 times

Now turn your head to the right 3 times

Lift the head up 3 times

Move it down toward your chest 3 times

Roll your head gently in a circle 3 times in each direction.

Hair-tugging,

Bend your head forward.

Grasp a hank of hair close to scalp.

Tug hard, relax your grip, then tug again.

Repeat the procedure three times.

Repeat all over scalp, to stimulate new, thicker growth, concentrating on any thinning areas, such as the sides of the forehead.

Caution: Don’t be too rough when you are massaging your scalp. Vigorous pulling or brushing can actually pull hair out of your head and damage the hair.

This is not totally true what you say about yoga cant get you in good shape alone, it depends on what kind of yoga you do.

Many people lose hair due to SLS SLES check for a shampoo that does not include sodium laureth sulfate. Even if the company sates it is vegetable source for laureth sulfate you dont want it. It can act as an irritant and many can lose hair when using them, when i use it just after shampooing more hair than normally would fall off on one day i can see in the shower after i have showered. I have read about many that stopped sls shampoos the hairloss stopped. But if its genetic i guess you have to live with it and accept it.

Good shampoo you can test is mop c-system hydrating shampoo, other sulfate free shampoos i tried just make your hair to dry or make your hair itchy due to other ingredients oil perfume etc. even some from mop does make your hair to dry. ONLY the c system series from mop does not have sodium laureth sulfate the other series have it so watch out for them.

Yoga can definitely help with both weight loss and hair health. For losing weight and flattening your stomach, focus on asanas like Surya Namaskar, Boat Pose, and Warrior Pose, which are great for core strength. For hair loss, practice inversions like the Headstand or Shoulder Stand, as they increase blood flow to the scalp, which can help with hair health. Additionally, it’s important to maintain a healthy diet along with your practice. You may also want to look through BioTRUST reviews , as they offer products that support overall wellness. Keep practicing, and you'll see improvements over time!
