Hi Baily,
I would suggest you start with some gentle pranayama to restore balance between the Ida and Pingala Nadis again. I trust you have access to a good yoga teacher or book to look up all the asanas that I will mention here. Back to pranayama, begin a session with some gentle abdominal breathing, about 10 breaths and then just breath normal. You do this in the dead corpse pose or shavasana.
You can do the following asanas, again gentle please and ensure that your body is properly warmed up by doing a few sun salutations or some gentle stretches:
[ul]
[li]Simple Supported Back Bend[/li][li]Supported Paschimottanasana (Forward Bend)[/li][li]Supported Sethu Bandhasana (Bridge Pose)[/li][li]Supported Supta Virasana (Reclining Hero’s Pose)[/li][li]Viparita Karani (legs up against the wall)[/li][li]Shavasana (dead corpse pose)[/li][/ul]These are the ones which I prefer most to do as restorative poses, there might be a lot more.
After the last dead corpse pose, you can come up into normal sitting position, back straight and end with a few rounds of nad shodhana pranayama, especially alternate nostril breathing where you close first the right nostril and breath equal breaths in and out and then after about 10 rounds, swop to the other nostril doing the same ending of with normal breathing through both nostrils.
Your breath is mostly the aspect that will bring back the balance for you again and this may take some time, please be patient.
Please let me know how things develop. I want to emphasize the importantce of a teacher here, please see if you can find a teacher to guide you.
Good luck.
