Due to the liver function test AST / ALT degrees are getting higher in each test , I begin to truely worry , anyone know about the yogic ( pranayama )method , please kindly help.

Namaste,
If Western medicine isn’t working for you and you have the chance of
seeing a qualified Ayurveda practicionner, it is worth a try.

Every time the body acts like this, it is trying to communicate something
to us. What is it? is the question we should ask. Also your stress level
is probably to high for you at this moment; increase your meditation
practice.

here is a book of prana techniques. I had the book and used some og the techniqes to lower a fever when I was sic. The technique did bring me comfort in the sickness. I believe there is a technique in there that is claimed by Bhajan to cure any type of physical sickness. http://www.amazon.com/Praanee-Praanayam-Exploring-Technology-Kundalini/dp/0972011072/ref=pd_sim_b_7
There are other options to pranayama as well.
You could also post this question at www.aypsite.org
seems to have many practicioners that have been around the block.
I hope you find something for you
my best to you
brother Neil

Hi Tina,
I am so glad you began a new thread for this. I shared this with you already, but I would I would like to share this with the others seeking here too. I know that Hepatitis B is not addressed on this forum. And Hepatitis is outside of my own studies in Yoga and Ayurveda, but I believe it is likely that Ayurveda would offer some possible treatments. What Yoga (pranayama included in this) would offer are techniques to support your immune system and help to balance the doshas, all of this would support your health and the treatments you are doing with your medical doctor.

Here is a link where Mukunda Stiles speaks about Hep-C
http://www.yogaforums.com/forums/f18…tis-c-164.html.

My recommendation is to start researching Ayurveda and Yoga for hepatitis and see what comes up. Please add your findings and what works for you here, we need your help to learn about these things.

Again all the best to you and I will add anything I can find to this thread. I have a call into one of my Ayurveda teachers now.

Much love,
Nichole

Thanks brother Neil & Nichole for the quick response

I have surged many web for this disease , many patients recommanded doing pranayama and the main one is kapl bhati and some patients also said they have cured the virus bcos of that. And another recommandation is kundalini breathing , i never learn this so i skipt this in my survey.

And for ayurvedic treatment one person recommanded drink ajwain and jeera before each meal for few months his problem disappeared but i don’t know what’s that in English so ayurvedic herbs treament are a great problem to follow

And for western medical treatment doctor will perscribe tenofovir but
rept said it cannot completely cure the virus and side effect is always
feel like catch cold or fever.

For this problem i rec’d different advises , such as chinese herb , acupuncture , meditation, pranayama and western medical treatment. It’s hard to decide yet.
But yoga always in my blood that before any other treatment i will increase practise in
kapal bhati ( slow strokes due to high blood pressure )and non stop in my meditation.
hope this help.

Dear Tina,

I am really worried by the parts that I have underlined here in the quote. Please dear friend, Hep B is not something that you can wait too long with in terms of decisions about which path to follow for healing. The longer you wait the more serious the damage to your liver become and the harder to heal.

Yoga is a wonderful practice and it has many uses and I have seen how it has helped with many illnesses and dis-ease, but Hep B is serious and you will need more that just yoga and pranayama to get you through this as it sounds to me that yours is quite advanced already and I here refer also to our conversations about this via PM.

You need internal intervention in the form of medicine be that allopathic, homeopathic, Chinese or Ayurveda and you also need to look at your diet to eat foods that will support your liver, avoid fatty foods, caffiene, alcohol, sugars etc. Increase your water intake, lots of green leafy veg.

Dear Pandara, totally agree with u that my liver need immediate attention and is waiting the treatment from the western medical specialist impatiently but he just repeatedly testing on my blood and not start treatment , he claimes don’t know the cause so have to make sure by different blood tests, thus I try to find other mean to hinder the virus till his treatment begin.

Yoga make me stay strong inside , honestly speaking I am quite scare for this unknown reason HB and I really don’t understand why the doctor delay my treatment for so long.

For food I has taken ur advise , actually I go veggie after follow my Indian teacher but recently back to meat taking because of my physical weakness. But i have taken ur advise that stop meat eating again.

ohhh thanks for sharing such nice post…

Hi Ujay there is no qualified Ayurveda practicionner in Hong Kong , here yoga is classified as exercise for most of the peoples here. So I won’t give much hope in finding one for myself.

Thanks all others for the support

Knowing that navel center 's( Nabhi chakra ) dislodgement that will leading to the problem to internal organs eg. liver ( especially after reproductive organ operation ) anyone know the way how to put the solar plexus back to track ?

I have been doing Ayruvedic medication and I found my hepB count to come down. I was told to do Yoga Pranayama by the medics. However I found that the count went up.
Does anyone have an experience with yoga. I am not so certian what is happening,
