I have a question :-? Does anyone here visit the yoga.com website? if you do, did something happen to the site? Is it still up and running because I can’t seem to access it?

How’s things going for you? Did the Ballys woman call you? I tell you, it has been a real hassel trying to get in the place. had a new student try one of my classes that is a Ballys member and she said it will do great. The other yoga instructors in Ballys have not been to receptive to me joining their team. NOT yoga-like. Shame shame!

i know i have been trying to get on and still cant but, I had e mailed with Neel and he is able to get on? weird?? maybe there is a just a glitch? hope it comes back up
I never heard back from the woman at ballys, i e mailed her, but no response… thats not cool that they arent very welcoming… no very yoga-like at all.
i am volunteering at a few places, and teaching some friends but no money making yet. I am in the process of hopefully picking up a shift at a studio in my area… so hope that works out.
do you have private clients? if so how did you find them, i was thinking of making flyers and posting something to craigslist, what do you think?

Just recently I picked up some private clients. It is a Mommy & me class. The woman has a huge house with a beautiful basement (9 foot ceilings). She is a student in one of my classes and approached me about the Mommy & Me class. It hasn’t started yet but I said yes.
I’m looking to cut back on some of my gym classes and take on more self-promoted classes and private clients. Have to target the wealthier areas.
Definitely post flyers, business cards, and try to rent space and self-promote a class. Advertise through community events in local papers. Pound the pavement. It will happen. Just takes time.
Also you might consider getting on sublists for gyms and community centers.
It will happen. Be patient but persistent (did I spell that correct? My spelling stinks)
Too bad we live a distance away from eachother. I would say come to my class.
I’ll talk to Carol from Ballys again and see if she forgot. She is a little scattered.
Keep me posted on the other forums too. I miss the crew tremendously. What does Neel say? Can he write anyone. Tried to write to the site but the email was bounced right back to me.

Curious to know if you teach prenatall yoga or know any yoga teachers in nassau that do? The yoga studio that I am subbing at is looking for a teacher.
I want to get certified in that area- do you also know anywhere in LI that does that training?
