Hi New member here

HI Everyone,

My name is Elvin, I new to this forum,
Hope i’ll have nice time here?

Hi there, I am a new member too, this is all a bit new to me actually. I have been teaching yoga for 25 years, originally trained at the Sivananda School of Yoga in Johannesburg, S.Africa. Although I am British, I moved here in my twenties.
Since then, I have studied other modalities of healing, as I do reckon that yoga is also one of them, not just a bunch of asana’s but a whole way of life and a modality to healing. This is because we are disturbing the system in some way when we move, similar to any massage, sport, or kinetic touch healing etc. I find the whole subject so amazing that I went on to study psychology, kineseology, body alignment, reiki, aromatherapy, thai yoga massage, Bowen technique, shaitsu and more. Mainly for my interest, but now I practice some of them here in S.A and also in Europe.

I am particularly interested in the teachings of Abraham, that is Esther and Jerry Hicks, Esther 'downloads" Abraham, and whether you believe that or not is irrelevant, because the teaching is very wise, so who cares where it comes from.

Hi! I am new to this site as well, and have been studying yoga through books written by Yogi Ramacharaka. I have learned so much from these books; they are written so simply and have mental exercises that really help the mind to comprehend the concepts. I also agree that the teachings of Abraham are profound. I get quotes from the teachings of Abraham emailed to me daily. I love those- a bit of wisdom to consider each day.

Hello everybody,

I am new on this forum too.
Hope I will get to know ppl who share the common interest in yoga.
