Hi there

I’ve done yoga on again off again for quite a few years. More off then on. Now I have a toddler and have a hard time doing it at all. (Any tips? I’m already squeezing a lot of stuff in during her nap) I really want to get it into my routine again because I am feeling a little listless and unmotivated. I always feel so much better after I do yoga so hopefully I will be able to find some inspiration here

when I have a particularly busy day, I drop the idea that yoga requires 60 or even 30 minutes for me to enjoy and benefit from it. Consider 3 or 4 five-minute routines consisting of different poses throughout your day. You could call this spontaneous yoga.

Shara,
You might want to see if a studio near you offers a ‘mom and me’ yoga class. Your toddler might love playing with you on your mat. It’s not the quickest way to chakrasana, but it might (if the kid is willing) engage lots of your spirit.
Have fun!

i want to suggest you that if is it possible that you can do yoga in group like in yoga school or with friends. if yes then you will enjoy it.

I’ve seen several “baby and me” yoga dvds on Amazon, youtube might have something for you too. Techne has a great suggestion, I’ve started to see more of the “mom and me” classes offered in local yoga studios.

Good luck!

welcome, and good luck!!:)

Welcome to the forum. I hope that we inspire one another.

Welcome to the forum!

If you want motivation, look no further than your child. The longer your physical, mental, and other abilities remain strong (or improve) thanks to yoga, then all the more you can enjoy your life together.
