How to best sit in a chair - ideas?

Hi forum,
I am working towards one day being able to sit in lotus position for meditating, but in the meantime, I really do like meditating in a chair. The problem with this though is that after more than 45 minutes I inevitably feel uncomfortable pressure (and this gets pretty distracting). Does anyone have advice on how to sit in a chair comfortably for a long period of time without budging/shifting around?
My only constraint is that the back isn’t leaning against anything.

Thanks!!

I know about tone thing that meditation on a chair or other such a thing,is not as like simple ways. For the purpose you must have to discuss with a instructor.

Feet flat on floor, hip width,90’at ankles…90’ at knees …so put a prop under feet or bum…as you need…sit up tall on sit bones…not back on sacrum…so 90’torso/legs…drop shoulders down…rest hands on legs…
Use a cushion if you have a bony bum.

Practice…practice…practice…

Thanks yogacambodia!
if I may also add, I notice that (perhaps counterintuitively), it is MUCH more comfortable in the long run to not sit in a cushioned chair (at least cotton or polyester filling) - it actually creates bigger pressure problems (where your bum and thighs as they weigh down on the seat)…
