Lotus pose, also known as Padmasana in Sanskrit, is a popular seated posture in yoga. It is a traditional pose for meditation, as it helps to calm the mind and increase concentration. To get into the lotus pose, follow these steps:

Sit on the floor with your legs stretched out in front of you.

Bend your right knee and bring your right foot up onto your left thigh.

Then bend your left knee and bring your left foot up onto your right thigh.

Rest your hands on your knees with palms facing up, or place them in a mudra (hand gesture) of your choice.

Keep your spine straight, shoulders relaxed, and chin slightly tucked in.
