How to do siddhasana

Can somebody help me in siddhasana?

“Siddhasana” is also like the "Padmasana"
But it quite different :

Technique

Sit down with both legs outstretched.
Bend the left knee and place the sole of the left foot against the right thigh so that the heel touches the perineum.
Bend the right knee and put the right heel against the public bone.
Keep hands with palms open if done between sunrise and sunset; otherwise reverse the palms.
The spine should always be held erect.

Dear David, i am beginner to siddhasana. i am primarly doing this asana to maintain celibacy. I dont have a yoga guru as such and will also not seek any one personally.

i have some doubts regarding the practice of this asana. i am having difficulty in placing my right heel against the pubic bone. It is some what near to it. How much pressure has to be applied on the perineum. How much pressure has to be applied on the pubic bone.

is it natural not to feel hungry after doing the asanas.

how to understand that the asana is working.
