Have long walks or some slight aerobic acticity every day without arriving to the loss of breath threshold.

Hello,

NUTS.
They are caloric, chock full of heart healthy fats and good complex carbohydrates, and just plain yummy.
I used to lose weight way too easily but I have managed to stay steady since adding mixed nuts to my morning cereal and eating half a cup of toasted, unsalted almonds 2 hours before practice.
Avocados, too. Try an omelet with mixed veggies and avocado slices, it’s delicious.
If you eat dairy, cheese is the way to go. Plus the protein and calcium it contains is good for you.
Carbs. Carbs. Carbs.
Ice Cream. Shakes. Donuts. Bagels. Bread. Pizza. Candy. Did I mention Bread?
Eats lots of it and you will get super fatty real quick.
Milk shakes.
Help the poor person gain weight in a healthy manner. eesh you guys. Come on.
I have read of people gaining weight with weight training and increasing protein intake. Talk to a doctor as well, they may have some good ideas, or even a nutritionist. Good luck!

As for yoga helping, I'm thinking the yoga instructors on this forum may have some suggestions for you. Refrain from aerobic types of exercise, as those get your heart rate up and are meant to help burn fat.
Poses such as Warrior, plank, and boat pose come to mind. Anything that challenges you to hold a pose using large muscle groups such as the thighs, the core, the arms and shoulders, should help build muscle and should help you gain some weight.

I can eat pound of sugar and pound of bread every day and still would not gain any… maybe because I train 4 hr a day;)
Usually people have few reasons for not gaining weight:
-insufficient diet
-digestive problems

I have a bad habit of sitting up all night and dozing throughout the day sometimes - do you mind if I ask how this affects weight loss?
And yes, as someone said - bread. Bread and peanut butter (PB&J sandwiches!) is a concoction for weight gain if I’ve ever seen one.
Sweets, protein shakes, juices, dry-fruits, normal workout.
eating sweets and junk carbs will make you gain more fat than lean tissue. If that is your goal than so be it.
You need more calories… simple as that. Force feed yourself every 2 hours. Lift heavy weights. Deadlifts, Squats, and Bench presses. Plenty of carbs and protein. Avoid cardio. Get plenty of rest.
Yes exercise in the right way…
In the country side in Europe, when you want your child to gain weight, you give him
walnuts mixed with honey.

yep, all of the above should help to gain weight… if you have normal digestion, normal hormonal levels, and manage stress in your life:)
