How to improve concentration power?

i have heard yoga improves your concentration power. plz feel free to share such tips with me .

I would say there are roughly two ways to ‘cultivate’ concentration.

  1. One would be the most obvious way: to return attention back to one spot, object, idea or such, and maintaining this attention towards that one object, excluding every other thought.

  2. Secondly one can let go of his/her interest in distraction. Distraction is that which happens when one has an interest in the fleeting thought-forms that arise in ones mind.

Once you start to notice/observe how easily ones attention is consumed by a passing idea, belief, emotion, thought or mental story about someone or some situation, one can go to the roots of this distraction and realize that one has an interest in all of these things. One believes ubconsciously that these thought-forms have something of value in them. If one would not have this belief/interest than one would not follow after such thought-forms.

So the second approach ivolves letting things be as they are and being without desire or interest in the impermanent forms of life. From this arises the deepest kind of concentration that is not exclusion of destraction but rather inclusion of everything as it is, without being distracted by anything, including distraction!

The first approach is rather shallow and inherently ill-conceived in my experience, since it eventually leads to a dull, ‘fake’ peaceful state of mind that is rooted in judgment/discrimination and it lives of off the sense of separation. But it can be useful for limited purposes such as increasing one’s attention span in class.

The second approach makes one not only more stable and focused, it actually provides a fundamental openness and acceptance to truly know oneself at its deepest level. Joy, Wisdom, Love, Compassion, Concentration, Power, Energy, Benefit all happen through this second approach. But you have to be willing to see through the illusion that believes that the arising display of thoughts/emotions and mental states will lead you anywhere. If this interest is seen through, it drops on its own and open, all-inclusive concentration/awareness is what is discovered to be naturally here.

Yoga helps in you in different manner. If you want to increase your concentration power than i will suggest you. Dharana & pranayama.

Why don’t you try meditation ?? It’s good for concentration.

Yoga means to unite. Unite our physical body and our physical mind with our Divine Mind, the Higher Mind. This alignment is basically our physical mind’s cooperation and surrender to the Higher Mind.

When you’re doing any kind of yoga, be a good observer. Observe your breath, observe you’re thoughts. Eventually, you become mindful in any activity you do.

Do it early in the morning and just meditate into nothingness.

The yoga balancing poses are great for focus and concentration - tree, dancer, eagle, warrior 3, etc. Also, try sequencing from one to the other for more fun!

Channels balances the body and mainly brain(mental system)
Channels are 3, but we can clearly talk about 2 only.
When these are cleaned, means working properly, we don’t get disturb with anything else a little thing can make us more disturbed.

They are :- am explaining in general featers about RIGHT AND LEFT CHANNEL

LEFT CHANNEL --------------------------			RIGHT CHANNEL 

 Nagativity --------------- More positivity
 Past Ideas----------------- Future plans
 Negative thoughts -------------- Excess positive thoughts.
 Sad ------------------ Excess Happy
 Cool temperature ------------------ Hot temp…

Once these channels r cleaned, we get less pressure on us by thoughts and internal movements, also some blocks will be there but , in this stage meditation is possible. Blocks has to be cleaned but can be cleaned after channels only (even then system allows us to do meditation). As no excess exists when cleaned.

For cleaning these, there are many methods…
NADI system is also important to control our thoughts (waves if them).
Observing the functionality of human internal system functions by sitting in silence, taking attention inside (Concentration means forcing the mental system to stay at one place, it may not be good) .So Observation (means only watching the internal system, can be chakra, heart or breath) in silence (Observe the silence).

This is my way of work.
