yeah this is the reason i do it. basically i see now that once you can control your thoughts, you can control how you feel.

yoga is a way of being in the world and not just an exercise. its a way of life, a way to be with life.
it promotes integrity, truth, a clean, supple and healthy body and mind.

how is this not beneficial to the human being?

Yeah agreed.
Btw does anyone else notice it makes some people more smug? Seems like the people in my old yoga group always talk down to others. But I wouldn’t exactly call people like them legit practitioners. Seems like the ones with the least spiritual integrity always have the most to say.
