Just wondering : Which way do you hula hoop ? I go counter clockwise and would consider it a milestone if I was ambicircuitous.
It’s been a while, but I’m clockwise inclined.
Depends on the perspective. You mean clockwise looking up or clockwise looking down.
I would say clockwise for me (looking down). But that is mostly clockwise “attempts.” I can’t really do it, but that was before I had my yogi powers, so maybe I can. I can definatlely roll them down the aisles at wal-mart with a back spin and make them come back to me.
I’ll try and feel like I’m not seriously chakra-challenged ( going counter-clockwise ) yet. Hoping more people will report their directions inside the big circle. Thomas I never could as a kid myself, it was after getting seriously into my yoga that my hula blossomed- I can walk around and hula pretty easily now. I think it was late 40’s or even about 50 before I started.
Not that I’m very good at it, but I do it counter clockwise.
Why exactly do you want to know? Do you want to what’s normal?
I can do both, but clockwise feels more “natural” to me. I don’t think there is one right way, just the way you (or your body) prefers.
Arno, like most yoga practitioners I like to do things on both sides of my brain , as a rule of thumb, and not having anything like equal ability both ways makes me lopsided in more ways than the hula hoop. I’d feel great if I could and will shoot for that in the future. Plus, it’s fact-finding with a good group to ask. I may get some insight. Sometimes you don’t know what will show up, you just dig. Namaste

I understand.
Well to make your statistical outcome more complex, I’m righthanded and leftfooted. Crosslopsided
