This ‘make it alive in the soul’ and ‘not … merely with the intellect’ resembles what my priest was saying several months ago about sitting with mystery. He would take the statement ‘I am’ to be either the name of God or the received gift of creation, and as such quite useful mysteries to contemplate.

Sorry people, i disagree with you guys.
I think this quote is of very little help spiritualy.
I can think of many things to say that are much better.
