many thanks for a help:)

first try to intoduce your mind to your body…very essential…
did you ever heard about our mind been more stronger than our body ?
mindless full ok?

Hari OM Sacral,
thank you for the answer, I know human mind is very powerfull tool, and it is essential for anything, but I?d like help my mind:-)an yoga exercises and ayurvedic approach seems me to be the right way. I have also heard it is very problematic, espacially for people of “vata” constitution.
Many thanks and have a ball:-)

I don’t believe tendons contract so I’m unsure how to respond to you properly.

If the student cannot get into padmasana because the nature of their body prevents it, then the student doesn’t get into padmasana. It is very simple.

As IA points out that getting into padmasana has nothing to do with your tendons, but it has all to do with how well your hip joints has been prepared through asanas prior to attempting padmasana. It usually takes more than a year for a beginner to successfully opens the hips in order to carry the strain that the knee joints must endure in padmasana. Remember the hips joint works on the principle of a ball and socket which has more rotation possibilities than the knee joint which works on a hinge principle and as such is extremely limited in rotation. That’s why hip openers is so important when you start to do yoga as it prepares the way forward for padmasana.

If you can after good preparation under the guidance of a teacher still not get into padmasana, then you will never be able to do it, no matter what. Best will be to make peace the fact and adjust your asanas to accommodate your inability.

Hari OM Innerathlete and Pandara,
thank you for your answers, agree to both:-)I have started do pawanmuktasana (PMA) series every morning a few weeks ago, one said it is good start for the beginners. I am thinking about it and met that it is clearing, energising for my mind and body. Also more progress done this life means better initiall conditions to next life, it is right?:-). I will exercisse PMA, add a yoga poses for next months and try ayurvedic massage to support progress and after a time will see…
Christmas greetings to Seattle and Pretoria from Velke Mezirici in Czech Republic:-)
