These old memories are haunting me a lot.
I also want to work whole day with a minimal rest like a robot. How can it be done through yoga? How to make my mind relaxed, thoughtless in front of a man doing very bad behavior to me? Ho9w can it be done through any yogic poses or pranayam? which yogic poses and pranayam technique is essential for me?
Debu123,
This is very sketchy. But you know the whole truth and I don’t think you should be telling more in such a ‘public’ forum.
Memory is our asset, we abuse it by hoarding emotive part of the life’s experiences rather than their lessons. We also hold on to memory since it allows us to revisit pleasant as well as sad moments of the past because both titilate us and make the present emotions justified. Human memory is not just located in the brain, it is in each cell, very hard to erase. Yoga practices enable less and less use of memory in thinking so that redundant memory evaporates. It also allows new spiritual knowledge to enter memory in place of the emtions.
One thing is sure, if you insist on Yoga as the only path to follow, you are at the right place. But you will need a lot of patience and perseverance. However, belief that some asanas and pranayama will do something by themselves to bring about quick change is misplaced. If the situation is desperate, some other options may be more suitable.
Yoga does bring about permanent change but it happens within and shows up in the behavior and perception. For a comprehensive change to occur Yoga needs to be practiced in thughts as well as in deeds as long as one can, thus engaging a substantial part of life. Eventually, it becomes possible to go through daily chores, not like a robot, but with full awareness, full dedication and full non-attachment. This way your actions don’t invite any baggage to carry and you remain happy simply by doing and not in expectations of returns.
Can Yoga practice change other people or situations? No. But, it changes the way we take them and that is a fundamental and real change.

Why?
please, you do not need to erase them… yoga will teach you to ACCEPT your old even unpleasant memories as an experience, and gratitude that you were experiencing them and they are part of you. FORGETTING of ERASING do not work…the memory will just slip in to your subconsciousness and make even more trouble. Please read a “the power of kindness” by Piero Ferrucci and practice yoga. Namaste
Why do you want to work all day without rest? That is not healthy and I think that all yoga teachers would not recommend it.
