I would like to study under a Himalayan master

Dear All,
I have heard great stories of yogis that can do amazing things. Yogis that can levitate, fly through the air, float on water, appear in different places at once, go without eating or drinking for months, eat poisons. The list goes on and on. In America it seems these people do not exist. I have never been to the far East such as India or China. I was wondering if anyone here has witnessed any of these great things. Does anyone have a master that can do any of these things? I look forward to hearing from you

God Bless,
Lefti

believe, everyone would like to have their own guru but for western people it is very hard to find one…
…and i also think that 90% of the people living in america and europe are full of karmic garbage that can not be takan away by guru and has to be payed throughout many lives…
it is true that yoga decomposes a great part of this karmic trash but i do not belive that western people can that easily attain their guru…

p.s.

… do not take this all literally…
if you have enough will and you are willing to travel all to the far east, then you should really try…
but if you think “wow…it would be a great thing to have a guru master…let’s find one” then forget about it…

I think when the student is ripe the master comes automatically. I think its better to do spiritual practices like yoga, meditation, mantra, etc as per one’s interest right where one is born/lives normally, instead of wasting time roaming around the world.

Hello, maybe the books mentioned below might help.

Dear Lefti,

My master Pt.Shriram Sharma acharya had achieved supernatural powers through Gayatri sadhana under severe penance for 27 years. He could be present at 5 different places at a time. He wrote more than 3000 books in his life. According to him "Spirituality is not miracle, it is science.

Little about him:

Revered Gurudev, Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya
(A seer-sage and a visionary of the New Golden Era)

Gurudev, Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya?s personality was a harmonious blend of a saint, spiritual scientist, yogi, philosopher, psychologist, writer, reformer, freedom fighter, researcher, eminent scholar and visionary. His life and work represent a marvelous synthesis of the noble thoughts and deeds of great personalities like Swami Vivekanand, Sri Aurobindo, Mahatma Gandhi, Socrates and Confucius.

He pioneered the revival of spirituality and creative integration of the modern and ancient sciences and religion, relevant in the challenging circumstances of the present times.

He successfully practiced and mastered the highest kinds of sadhanas of Gayatri and Savitri. He also practiced higher-level sadhanas on the arduous heights of Himalayas several times and had established enliven contact with Rishis (Sages) of Himalayas.

His volumes on Gayatri Mahavigyan (Super Science of Gayatri) stand as most authentic and comprehensive treatise on the philosophy and science of the great Gayatri Mantra.

He initiated programs of spiritual and intellectual refinement of millions of people without any discrimination of religion, caste, creed, sex, or social status.

[B]Possession of the sidhi should not be an aim but just result .
