I'am new here and I need Your help

Hi, I’am new here. I’am very interested in meditation. I started to meditate 2 weeks ago and 1 week ago started to meditate on chakras. So My questions are:

  1. Is it dangerous to meditate on chakras everyday few times in the morning and in the evening?
  2. I heard that some people got traumas or gone insane, because they meditated on chakras in wrong way, is that possible?
  3. I meditated on chakras 6 or 7 days and it feels good, but now I’am scared, please give Me some advices.

My instructor put it this way: “The mind is a dangerous place…never go there alone.”
Never did find out where he got that one from.

I won’t judge, but if you are even entertaining such fears in your consideration than perhaps meditation is something that you may well wish to explore with an experienced teacher, or at a workshop, or literature. I’m sure others will soon wade in with some compassionate input. I just felt that having a day pass with no one responding might be harsh. And that only gave me a few minutes. Good luck?

Yogamark, thanks for Your input. I can’t get any instructor. I thought that meditation is safe and can not harm, but I was wrong, even if I felt very good after chakras meditation.
