Improving my balancings

I am wondering if in order to improve my balancings I just continue with the primary series or if there is something specific i could be doing. I am becoming increasingly strong and stable in trikonasana, parsvottanasana, warriors 1, 2 and others, however I can’t see to do balancing well at all (ie Vrksasana). I have Parkinson’s disease but I’m not sure if that is the problem. Any suggestions?
