In class erections

I am looking to start doing yoga to hopefully help with my lower back and knee problems from my time in the Army. I have heard mixed opinions or answers on the issue of men getting erections in class, if so, what should I do about it, how to respond it it happens. I mean, I’m not going to go in there wearing a wrestling singlet, but if it happens, someone will notice, and while it won’t stop me from going because at the end of the day, I couldn’t really care what they think, but I don’t want to be surprised, not know how to handle it and then have it ruin my experience. thanks for the info in advance.

Why is this a concern for you?

You should create future problems of something that did not happen yet.

Most people are concentrated on their asanas hence they dont have time to look into your crouch.
Well it can happen that someone sees it of course ,but so what? If anyone sees it and have a problem with it,it really shows us more about them than your so called accident.

But as it didnt happen yet i suggest you dont think like this as the future becomes so exaggerated if we let our mind make assumptions how many times did we brood on the future and exaggerated problems to just fint out that it was no big deal and not even near the exaggerated version we had imagine? Please live in the now.

Ah, your point is understood. I’ve learned that in life, if you fail to plan, then you should plan to fail. But the jist of this one seems to be BFD. Thanks for not answering the question with a question.

If you can get through any other physical activity when there are women around, it’ll be fine. Don’t worry about it. If you’re just starting out, you’ll be too focused on the poses and your practice to think about it. Or worry about it. Or to have it happen.

Lol it wasn’t the women around that us the issue, it’s the increased blood flow that is the issue. But screw it I guess, if it happens I’ll just drive on see if I develop a fan club. Although now that I think about it, I should be more concerned about how it might affect the ruptured/bulging discs in my lumbar spine, the misaligned knees and jacked AC joint. Although I guess that is more a question for my doctor. Gotta love the body by us army.

There are some postures bending your knee when it comes to those postures go easy if you feel some discomfort dont do it. Also tell the teacher before hand that you have a knee problem would be a good idea.

If it hurts in a bad way more than a muscle just stretching -dont do it. Even stretching the muscle to much for a beginner can also be fatal. Just Go Easy. I wish you good luck.

Could be an opportunity to test the new penis balance asana posture.

what is your main concern?
