Inquiry for Professional Yoga Therapist Course for partially disabled person

Revered Self,

I am Hemant Uppadhyay, 35 years old male from Udaipur (Rajasthan-India).

I want to become a Yoga Therapist. I have done one month Yoga Certificate Course from Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy, Shivananda Ashram, Rishikesh (INDIA) in November 2011. Previously, I had contacted S-VYASA, Bangalore (INDIA) for Yoga Therapist (M.Sc. Yoga Course) Course.

Unfortunately in July 2015, I got fractured in both my heel bones (Calcaneal Fracture) from a fall from stairs.

Due to that fracture, I am at present not able to walk fast. I can not run and can not do small jumps. I cannot stand and walk straight on toes (while heels raised).

I am not able to do certain Yoga exercises. But I can walk normally and do certain yoga exercises. Doctor told that my condition will improve with time. He said even if I cannot regain exact pre-injury state but he told that it will improve with time.

I want to know if any institute/university in INDIA offers Professional Yoga Therapist Course or any Professional Yoga Course for PARTIALLY DISABLED individuals.

If due to my disability, I am not able to teach Yoga then also I want to serve in Yoga by doing any job including clerical job in Yoga universities or institutes. I will be highly obliged if you can guide me in this regard.

Presently I have a government job in Rajasthan State (India). If anybody on this forum knows any job vacancy in Yoga institutes or universities in INDIA, please let me know.

Regards,

Hemant

Good luck with your search!

Hemant,

I replied following in other thread of yours.

Try checking out with SVYASA in Bangalore, that may be able to help.
Yoga field is vast and not limited to only postures that many people think. If you have devotion for yoga then you can teach it very well.

I started teaching yoga with my first student as polio issue. In a year or so he was doing sirsasana.

As a teacher you need to know subtleties of the postures.
