namaste to all of you,
i am from kolkata. the name given to my body is what i am generally known as. i start in my pursuit for knowledge about self in right earnest but in the middle always stumble and discontinue. I have observed that this has become my second nature in everything i do and hence in whatever i do,despite my best wishes and actions and despite long years of practicing i have made no further progress. can any one suggest what i should do to cling to the pursuit of mine all along
with regards to all the forum members

May I make a suggestion. Perhaps what you perceive as what you should pursue is perhaps not what your spirit needs you to pursue and therefore the half baked attempts everytime.
Perhaps you need to first pursue your astrological natal chart to assertain if there are any astrological influences to this inability of you to continue to pursue something in your life. I always feel that one should start with the concrete stuff and then work from there. Once you have an understanding of that, then you can look at past life influences as a possibility as well.

I think the reason why you feel you have made no progress despite your on and off efforts, is because progress really does not exist. It is only in our minds that we decide: “Hey, I can do more now, I feel better and I am having more visions! I have progressed, these years of efforts really helped my to become a lot more spiritual, hooray!” 
In reality we are only growing laterally, from A to B. This is not worth striving for for the rest of your life. For it is not truly progression at all, only change, modification, movement. that is why you feel no different today really than 5 years ago. Because you are in fact still the same and your level of perceiving reality, your state of being has not changed.
The only choice through which we can truly grow, transform, is by becoming more and more aware of the fact that we are awareness.

I happen to know nothing about that :).
Probably someone on this forum knows about it. Your best shot is to make a new thread/topic with the subject name including “astralogical natal chart.”
