Introduction

Hi all,

Just wanted to quickly introduce myself. I’ve been lurking these forums for a couple of months now and thought the time was ripe to join in the fun :p.

I have a background in western philosophy as well as religious studies (specializing in ‘mysticism’). About six years ago, I took a year-and-a-half long yoga teacher training course and subsequently taught classes for about two years. After a break from teaching, I will start a more in-depth (600 hours+) course starting this weekend.

Very passionate about the yoga tradition in all its facets and looking forward to participating in what seems to be a lively and diverse community here…

best,
NK

Welcome! I hope your first weekend at training goes excellently!

Welcome and looking forward to your contributions!

Welcome

Namaste Nomad Kamda,

It is great to have somebody with a background in philosophy on this forum. There is still hope for more critical and considered discussion on this forum. I have a background in both Western and Eastern philosophy(most notably Indian) I look forward, if you dare enter, to your perspective on many of the religious debates in the religion forum, particularly the comparative discussion on Abrahamic religions and Hinduism.
