I’m curious what my teacher’s level of training is and where they were trained. But I’m worry that would be rude to ask. Is it? And how do I know if their training was, “good” or not?
Its not rude to ask but how can you know how good the teacher is just because you know where they have trained?
Try there class, if you like you go back. you don’t like you find someone else.
Bit like choseing a partner
Hi,
I don’t think it is rude to ask.
The training/class is for you to help develop your own practice and understanding of yoga. Asking may help you to better understand where the teacher is coming from, which in turn will enable you to make informed choices about the course you participate in.
Besides, it’s good to have a solid professional understanding of the yoga instructor so you can feel comfortable and freely ask questions that help with the practice of yoga. Ask as much as you like. A good student asks and a good teacher listens and answers. It is a two way communication. Enjoy the class and be informed.
