I’d imagine those ferrets like you say could be a bit smelly though. I quite like cats though at least the idea of keeping one, i don’t have any(easier to keep than a dog for sure).

I used to have a very special cat…he knew when I wanted him by telepathy, he always got it right, I didnt have to shout him to come indoors, just think it and there he would come, running down the garden. I loved him dearly and miss him.
