Iyengar tt in san francisco

after 11 years of asana practice, i’ve decided to enroll in an iyengar tt in hopes of teaching and opening a studio in san francisco. iyengar seems to have lost its following in sf from when i first started but i learned all i know about correct alignment and relaxation fromt he practice. i used to enjoy applying what i learned in iyengar into my mysore practice. these days i’m not as ambitious in the mysore method, i enjoy the method of iyengar since for me personally it encourages my private practice more. would enjoy hearing other’s journey in yoga.

I like Iyengar … that was the only one style in my country for years:) just now I discovering that his teaching is not “complete” and too much asana and gymnastics-yoga oriented… thought he has some good books on sort of yoga therapy…

Let me know how things progress opening the studio in San Francisco, as I am in the area
