Just starting, suggestions for beginner yoga poses?

I am just starting out with yoga, to try and fix my forward neck. Is there any beginner poses that might be good for me? If there is it would be great if you could share them with me :]

[FONT=Verdana]Welcome to the forum. Forward head is a classic question in structural yoga therapy by Mukunda Stiles. It means that the upper trapezius is weak and/or the sternocleidomastoid (SCM) muscles are tight. Hence, the upper trapezius needs strengthening and/or the SCM needs stretching. Typically, poses like cobra (bhujangasana) and extended triangle (utthita trikonasana) may serve your purpose. Since you are new to yoga, please learn these from a yoga therapist or a very experienced teacher. Not all yoga teachers are able to administer poses for therapeutic purposes.[/FONT]

Thanks for the tips. I already know what the cobra is, and I do it every day (safely) It has been helping me alot actually. last night I was able to sleep on my back with out pain.
