Keeping weight balanced

Q ? what do you recommend for keeping weight balanced for normal people?

In my book Structural Yoga Therapy i have chapters devoted to specific goals for yoga. Chpt. 27 is about digestive health. The practices there are also beneficial for weight loss and maintenance. It is ideal to have them taught specifically as it constitutes a progression from pranayama to kriyas for the digestion. In a more general program I would recommend sun salutations done for gradually longer length of time. Once you can do 20 minutes then you can begin to pick up the pace. This facilitates a strong aerobic affect and will assist with weight loss. Of course in addition the diet needs to be followed along Ayurvedic lines. For this see Prakruti ?
