Levitation!
no one is stupid enough to think existence is plausible.
How on earth is existence not plausible? Are you trying to be poetic or something? Of course existence is plausible… that’s one of the most certain phenomena that is plausible… as Rene Descartes said ‘Cogito ergo sum’ ‘I think, therefore I am’

what is more amazing and unfathomable as existence? My point YA is that if existence is plausable, meaning something came from nothing, then what is not possible? If you say levitation is beyond belief, then tell me what came first, can you find that out? yes people explain the big bang, HOW WAS THAT POSSIBLE? my only point to you, is what is the limit of existence? Is levitation any more of a miracle then human kinds ability to give birth to a child? Yes we can scientifically explain, sperm and egg makes baby, however, look into it deeply and you may come to the point that science just does not know.

Well there is plenty of evidence to support the existence of child birth. If there was any evidence besides ‘oh, I reckon it’s possible’, for levitation, then I may start to take it seriously. Until then… it’s just bollocks.

what evidence have you found that makes the big bang possible? someone told you how it happened?

We know the universe is expanding and started from a single point. I thought that was common knowledge.

I remember this zen story… a monk that belonged to another sect came to this zen master and bragged about all the magic his own master could do. he could levitate (of course), and paint through the air, walk on water… lots of stuff. When he finally finished the zen master looked up at him and smiled, saying “Well, it’s possible that your cunning master can do all this but my magic is that when I’m hungry I eat, when I’m thirsty I drink and when I’m tired I sleep. Can your master do that?”.

I once thought one of my yoga teachers levitated. They had this early morning class on fridays that eventually I was the only one to attend. So it was just me and the two teachers, and we just did what whatever asanas we felt like before chanting together. At one point I turn around and it looked like one of my teachers was in fact levitation, sitting real still about a foot from the ground doing nadi shodan pranayama (sp?).

Turns out he was exactly one foot off the ground since he was balancing on one foot sitting in half lotus (what’s that asana called again?) and it was just the angle that made it look like he was levitating for a short moment. I remember however that my second though (after my initial surprise to see him levitate) was that “Nah, he can’t be, he’d never do that in public”. And I think that’s true, even if he’d actually known how to levitate, if that’s even possible, he’d never show anyone.

Anyway, the videos posted here showed nothing but people trying to jump sitting in lotus position, which isn’t very impressive. They weren’t even jumping that high.

The inner Guru inside you levitates into the third eye when you find him. I have experienced this so I think levitatin is highly significant

Ever heard of clozapine?

Your comment is because you are spiritually naive sir

I have just read that you used to practice Buddhism…were you not informed about the inner Guru who sits inside you and everyone waiting for you to find him, awaken him and visually walk with him ? You have to use the third eye to find him…when you do he levitates into the third eye and sits there (between your eyebrows)…a tiny little Buddha, watching, occasionally coming out and forward getting larger and, when you are clear and bright in mind, he grows to full size?..it is in Hindu and Buddhist literature sir

Checked out the video. Man, I do this to warm up for asanas. Nothing to it, really.

Thanks …I have just watched the video…a possibly interesting point is that the inner guru levitates with the greatest of ease, in a very smooth perfect way…perhaps this is something that you perfect as you practice.

TO YOGIADAM

From Yogiadam Ever heard of clozapine?

I am curious Yogiadam…what do you think the 6th chakra is?..what do you think its function is?..why do you think it is called the third eye? What do you think will happen when you open the third eye? Do you think you will see anything? If so, What?

Sure, Chakras are ancient traditional beliefs that no longer make sense. Similarly, to using leeches for medical purposes, they do nothing. We have no evidence for them, and absolutely no reason to believe in them. I would like to apologize about my sarcastic comments about clozapine. This was insensitive, as I did not consider the possibility. that some forum users may genuinely have a mental illness, and any type of illness is not to be made fun of.

Still curious yogiadam…why do you call yourself yogiadam, I mean the yogi part? who is we in the we have no evidence of them?..by we, do you mean you?..I am astonished at this statement??? perhaps you can enlighten me…so you do not believe in the chakras and their functions seeing them as ancient nonsense beliefs, yes?..

Kind Regards Kareng

Actually, leeches are making a comeback.

yogiadam. are you there? If the time in Australia is behind the time in England, should I dismiss whatever you say tomorrow as old and therefore irrelevant ?

Sorry, I actually have a life and can’t just answer your questions at your beckon call. Are you asking how I do not except the theory of Chakras? Maybe you can tell me how I should?
