Looking for good Yoga studio in London - Beginner

Hi

I am new to Yoga, and love it already very much…

I am looking for a beginners course/classes in London, UK. As the studio where I attend at the moment is so crowded (around 40 students) :o that it is really difficult to do any poses without hitting your neighbour.

Any tips, hints where to go to would be much appreciated.

Many thanks.

Try Soho gyms…they have several branches across London very reasonable prices and have some good teachers.
Alchemy in Camden has some very good classes.
And TriYoga has 3 or 4 studios(Primrose Hill, Carnaby street…) in London also some great teachers.
North London Buddhist center has some classes…try Dawns classes.
There are loads of yoga places in London…I also went to some classes at the Pineapple studio…try class with David

Hi yogacambodia

Thank you very much for the reply.

(I am at Triyoga at the moment where it is so crowded…)

The Alchemy Centre in Camden sounds interesting, would you recommend any particular teacher?

I was only in London for 8 days in June…(think I did about 12 classes between Triyoga,Alchemy and Pinapple studios(if you make it to Pineapple give David a big hug from me) .

I think the teachers I went to at Alchemy were Elisa and…I cannot remember the other names…sorry…I did only flow or dynamic classes which were great, it is a nice place…oddly in the middle of Camden Lock market…similar price to Triyoga.

The Life Center in Notting Hill, Iyengar Center in Maida Vale and Sivananda Center in Putney are worth trying.
During peak times they are all going to be crowded, especially the beginners classes. If you can go during a week day, there will be lots more personal space.

Jivamukti - Kensal Road

The Life Centre - Notting Hill/ Inslington (my fav and oldest yoga studio in London!)

If a class is overcrowded feel the love and unite!

Great.

Thank you all, much appreciated!

Check out Indaba yoga studio in Marylebone. It’s brand new, gorgeous
large studios, plenty of lockers and showers and fab teachers. you won’t be disappointed!
