Midnight Yoga for Men is Good or Bad?

Practitioners should have knowledge and the understanding of the various Yoga principles. There is no nudity in this yoga type.

In a simple word, Midnight yoga is the practice of yoga without dressing any cloths. Main reason for doing this is to allow you to feel free in your body.
You can do the exercises and poses without any restrictions brought about by yoga clothes. But doing yoga without any clothes is hard to grasp for most people. Yoga Practitioners should bear in their mind that doing yoga in this manner is meant to unite the body, mind and soul.

Now you can decide that doing yoga in this manner is Good or Bad ? Please comment.

I usually let the temperature in the room determine how much clothing I wear in my home asana practice. I haven’t noticed that being clothed or less clothed helps or hinders my intention to unite.

I’m with Techne!

I wonder about a practice of any sort that allows something as trite as the presence or absence of clothing to interfere with the unification of body, mind, and spirit. If clothing is the largest thing standing in the way of your evolution you are leading a very charmed life.

qsuraj, the body and the clothes are maya, can you see beyond that?

if you like it, go for it. Whatever floats your boat

At first I was a little confused by the post as it began with ‘no nudity with this yoga type’, then goes on to describe practicing without clothes.

Anyway, I agree with Inner Athlete in that it really doesn’t matter. My preference is to at least have underwear to prevent my beans from bouncing around too much.

qsuraj,

I noticed that you asked specifically about men. Did you mean men individually or as a group? Individually, it would seem a little weird, which isn’t good. With a group of men, now that would be bad. But seriously, I question the motivation for this kind of practice, and for this thread. It seems to me the question should apply equally to women. And the answer would be different if we were talking about men and women together.

Check it out.
