Morning Yoga Routine Suggestions

Hello,

Besides my simple meditation practice, can someone suggest a good
routine I can do first thing on an empty stomach?
Like pranayama and postures basically.
Nothing advanced please - just a good beginner series.
And what order - before or after meditation?

After meditation …

Surya Namaskar in the classical form. If the body is too stiff for this first thing then the Morning Series (this would require a teacher who knows it). There are other methods or sequences to progressively warm/prepare the body for asana in the morning. However you’ve asked “nothing advanced” and the classical SN would be a good start - we can add to that after you’ve done it daily for a few months and can feel the effects for you in your own body/living.
