When muscle testing hip flexors - does the other leg have to be totally relaxed. I’m finding that it’s near impossible to not elicit a response in the opposite glut max and then the other side hip flexors (minimal).

In general when we move it is inefficient due to excessive activity of secondary movers and adjacent muscles. To be accurate in MT minimize the motions of the other side so both sides are being tested with same minor postural changes. namaste mukunda
