In a recent workshop I was introduced to an asana that I wasn’t familiar with. Back at home, trying to record the practice, I realized I’d never seen this exact pose before. I can’t find it in LoY. I’m hoping the more experienced members can help me. (My money is on an Eka Pada something)
- From Tadasana, forward bend into Uttanasana
- Bend the right knee and slip the right arm (shoulder if possible) behind the right knee.
- Wrap the right arm behind the back,
- Reach the left arm back and clasp hands
- Straighten the left knee, if it’s bent, and stand up, balancing on left foot.
- Straighten the right leg
It’s a great pose, but I don’t know how to refer to it.
Thanks,
Bill
