I was just wondering has anyone any recommendations for a distance learning course in Yoga Therapy. I have done a 200hr training in India and also just trained in Holistic massage but I am finding it hard to narrow down my search for a good online course in Yoga Therapy.
Also I would be quite keen to go back to India to do another residential training and was wondering does anyone have a recommendation for there.

I don’t know any online therapy courses to recommend you, and personally I wouldn’t do it online. But considering yoga therapy training in India, check the Paramanand institute of yoga in Indore: paramyoga.org. A friend of mine did training there and highly recommended it. I am also planning to do this course the comming winter, and after some researching and comparing work, I signed up for their course.

I just took a course at Paramanand Institute… I do not recommend. Classes were often canceled and not made up. We were talked down to quite a bit “your western minds just wouldn’t understand” Instructors were short with content, logic, and material. Often contradicting themselves.

Due some circumstances I was going to change the dates of my course and do it in next november instead of the coming february. And because I had already paid unrefundable deposit I have been trying to contact the paramand institut since august. I asked them just for changing of the dates. No response. Now I should see my deposit as a generous donation, I guess…
