Painful erections

My doctor tells me I have ‘peyronies disease’ a build up of scar-like tissue on the penis which is painful when erect and, because it is hardened, cause the penis to bend as the rest of the penis swells ( the analogy is to put some sellotape on a balloon then blow it up). They tell me there is no cure for this, the pain may subside but I will always have the bend. My question to this forum is ‘is there an alternative treament/exercise that could deal with this condition?’

Hi I would suggest myofascial release as it is excellent for scar tissue. I’ve heard of it being used to treat a horses scarred tongue with great success. Hope that helps

‘is there an alternative treament/exercise that could deal with this condition?’

There are always alternative treatments to explore.
What they might be, what they might entail, and their level of efficacy, I cannot say.

Thank you Laura. Could you explain more?

Maxibob,
might I suggest Googling myofascial release therapy?
I also Googled it with the name of your condition, and it appears that it is used in cases like yours perhaps. It’s worth a look, and it looks like there’s a wealth of information out there about it.
