Partial Spondolysis and Stiff neck

Hi

I am suffering from partial spondolysis of 5th vertebra from past 2 months now. Doc has advised me for mobilisation exercises as I have as my spine has gone stiff. I had gone for physiotherapy for the same. While doing my exercises I have developed an inflamation on left side near my collar bone (just below the spine). Due to which my movement of my neck to left side is sometimes painful and movement of my left hand causes pain. Pain has now gone to my left shoulder (behind - just below the neck).

My hip bone also pains (my right one was paining some time ago and now my left one pains when I walk).
Can you advise me some exercises so that I get some relief.

I would recommend doing all my Joint Freeing Series from Structural Yoga Therapy book except the final three for the neck. Instead of them do the neck strengthening exercises from page 180. For your lower back it sounds like the sacroiliac is off - do a search in the forum for sacroiliac mobility exercise and that should greatly help. Optimal would be to have me or one of my students show you these exercises for most effectiveness. namaste mukunda

Now I have done MRI on Saturday…which shows some shoking results.

I not suffering from spondolysis…but

L5-S1 disc shows reduced intensity on T2 weighted images suggesting degeneration. Degeneration of L5-S1 disc with peridiscal marrow edema. Focal edema in left sacral articular surface.

Regardless of change in evaluation, I still recommend what i mentioned in first response. Also consider a nutritionist who is informed about food for the connective tissue’s degeneration. Drink lots of water for that is what the disc is made of. Dehydration is common factor in rapid or early degeneration. Blessings.
