I was wondering if anyone here has had the opportunity to study yoga from Paulie Zink. I like his style.
I havent ,but paul grilley the man that teaches “yin yoga” trained with him, for your information
Hello Reyals,
I have not studied with the person you mention.
It appears Paulie Zink teaches from the Taoist/Chinese/Martial Arts perspective and there are no classical yoga texts listed in the required reading of their curriculum.
According to his web site, Grilley studied with him for a year -learned the beginning level, then taught Sarah Powers who “founded” Yin Yoga.
For your additional information:-)
Gordon,
Is there something wrong with the taoist/Chinese/martial art perspective? If yoga means union, would a Taoist perspective not be welcome? Would this not provide an evolution of style? Or does it not fit into the group of spiritual yoga elite?
