Pinched nerve cure

While I was doing a calf exercises with weight on the shoulder I snapped my upper left of the back just below neck.

As a result I had pain in my left forearm for two months. I started going back to gym but I noticed I can only life half the weights I used to . My left hand almost will be uncapable.

Seems to me I injured some nerve which hasnt cured yet. Can some one suggest any yoga poses that can help.

You may have either muscle spasm or probably herniated disc issue (bulging). In either situation stop any activity and use collar support for the neck. You need to take out MRI (not XRay) because pain is there for last two months.
This is a case od yoga therapy not about ordinary pain. This will need close monitoring of your treatment. Reach me for more guidelines and treatment.

My hand and shoulder eveything functional.

It is just that , left hand is not strong enough as it used to be when lifting weights. i feel like some nerve in the upper neck and back area got pinched.

can some one suggest some simple poses i can do rectify this

I’ve had a cervical fusion, so I have some experience with severe nerve impingement. There may be some yoga poses that can help you, but there are some yoga poses you absolutely must stay away from (especially shoulder stand, bridge, and head stands). However, you really don’t want to chance it with nerve issues. Doing the wrong thing could leave you with permanent nerve damage. I would suggest seeing a good physical therapist. They can assess the extent of your nerve impingement and suggest specific techniques for correcting the situation. I realize an MRI is an expensive hassle, but it is much easier then cervical surgery!
