What do you call it when you meditate? What yoga philosophy is that?
that is a very strange question
Are you referring to the stages of meditation mentioned in the eight limbs?
Pratyahara - Withdrawal of the senses
Dharana - Concentration
Dhyana - Meditation
Samadhi - Super-conscious state
Thank you. I am refering to meditation.
Yoga is considered to be one of the six (or seven) schools of Indian philosophy, although it’s not exactly the same as what we in the west would call philosophy. The most authoritative text of yoga philosophy is the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, which contains the principles and practices of yoga, including those that we commonly refer to as meditation. Some people believe it’s possible to abstract the practices that we call meditation and apply them to one’s own frame of reference. It’s probably safest to do exactly that. Once you start down the path of trying to understand yoga philosophy, it can take years to even begin to understand, as it comes from a culture that is very different from our own.

Your question confuses me…
Can you provide more clarity, maybe more information about what you do when you meditate?
