Searchin’ For My Soul

Hydonus/Sturgis

Ridin’ down the highway travelin’ down the road
Lookin’ for the answers everywhere I go
Imagine all the memories
friends that I have known
It’s my inspiration for searchin’ for my soul

Every where I go searchin’ for my soul

The blacktop runs before me
as thoughts roll thru my mind
of places friends and highways
I have left behind
Still I keep on ridin’ lookin’ for my goal
Somewhere along this road
I’m sure to find my soul

Now I’m at the crossroad
I don’t know which way to turn
No one to ask or show me a stranger all alone
Where will answers come from?
The world looks dark and cold.
I stand at these four corners,
talkin’ to my soul

Someday I’ll pull over and take a look around
Something keeps me pushin’
and I’m homeward bound
So I ‘ll keep on pushin’ while I’m on a roll
Where other lites are burnin’
there I’ll face my soul

Every where I go searchin’ for my soul
