Pope - "Harvest India to Christianity"

Max Mueller is a famous indologist who came up with the Aryan invasion theory, translated the Vedas into English and came up with the dates for the beginning of Indian history. He was a paid employee of the British empire(he was paid very handsomely) and a biassed Christian who expressed his desire to have the Vedic religion destroyed.

When he dated Indian history he came up with the date by using the following method. He began with the assumption that the world began in 4004BCE as bible scholars believed at the time, then calculated when the great flood happened, how long it would have taken for the waters to dry up, and then estimated that the Aryans must have arrived in India in 1500BCE.

Despite the fact that Max Mullers theory is based on on Christian biasses, bad scholarship and bad scientific method, the Western world has never changed this obvious fabrication. They have maintained it in scholarship and in textbooks, when ironically enough Max Mueller who in his later life became a fan of Indian philosophy, admitted that he was guessing the date.

So what has the West done? They have deliberately falsified 10,000 years of Indian history and arbitarily started it at 1500BCE. This is despite the fact that records give very clear and accurate information going back 10,000 years of the dynasties of kings that ruled and Indian cities have been found going back as far as 7000BCE. Now we have clear genetic evidence that there was no influx of Caucasians in India any point in history and archeaological evidence shows very clearly no invasion or mass migration every happened.

How would you like it if Hindus invaded Europe and then claimed that its entire history is false and all evidence supporting its history is false, in fact European civilisation began 500 years ago and was started by Hindu ancestors

It is very clear that the Christian dominated West is racist towards Hindus and has nothing but contempt for its civilisation, people, culture, religion and way of life. Hence why even today India is portrayed as a poor, superstitious, cow-worshipping country in Western media and Hinduism as nothing more than idolatory and polytheistic primitivism, rather than an enlightened Yogic religion teaching about self and god realization.

There is going to be a clash of civilisations in the future. It can also be seen happening on this forum.

I dont know anyone who hates Hindus…where do they live these people who hate Hindus??

Until a person is educated, they will have peculiar views…that is forgivable…nothing to get uppity about. Once you show them otherwise they soon wisen up…I thought America would be a concrete jungle when I got there…instead I was pleasantly surprised to see massive expanses of natural beauty…

Define education, in the Western world specifically.

You still think that education = shedding of ignorance. In fact, in the West for the most part, education = reinforcing of Western dogma. The Aryan Invasion Theory is one aspect of this. In fact, much of my knowledge on many things comes from looking outside Western sources.

Nothing to get uppity about? You call the division of Indians along North-South lines, by skin color, by linguistic groups, and by differing views of our genetic and cultural heritage “nothing to get uppity about”?

How exactly are you enjoying things in Britain with your almost white skin and Christian upbringing?

What’s her “white skin” have to do with anything? Besides, she’s half Indian, so she probably has a very nice tan at least.

Come on, who hates Hindus then? You were answering my post…

Karen, your point has already been answered in another thread. The hatred towards Hinduism is institutional in the West. It is obvious from how Hinduism is portrayed in Western education and media, and how its vast and glorious history and its massive contributions in science, technology, philosophy, industry are ignored.

Things are changing bit by bit in Britain.
The information highway will educate people in all sorts of ways, if they are interested.
Like I said, nothing eventually will be hidden.
Religions will not thrive so you have already lost while you play the same old tune.
Educating the West about the East needs to be positive with all the exposure means we have at hand.

Yes, but this is only changing because information is now available on the internet for everybody to read. It is still no thanks to the Western media or education system, that still negatively stereotype India and still do not teach much positive about it.

I am doing exactly that I am educating the West about India and unfortunately(or fortunately) Indian civilisation stands for the opposite of Western civilisation and therefore we are going to have a clash of civilisations. The West will not acknowledge Indian civilisation because anything to conceded to Indian civilisation, is the loss of the West.

What would happen to the West when they start teaching that the origin of their philosophical and scientific culture in the Greeks is inherited from India? That Greek students went to Indian universities and learned science and philosophy.

What would happen to the West when they start teaching that their ancestors were migrants from the Indus valley and the Indian civilisation were the first to colonise the world and reach the Americas?

There is a very good reason why the West does not teach about India, because if they did, Western myths of supremacy and white mans burden would crumble.

Socrates and Plato studied in India?

Cool! Who cares if they did?

What’s the evidence for that, though?

Historians.

I have seen quite a few theories on this particular subject. However, MUCH more research has to be done to determine this as fact or myth.
