Pope john paul ii receives a mark in his forehead by a pagan shiva priestess

We received some very shocking, but revealing, information about Pope John Paul II from a sister Christian organization, Former Catholics For Christ. In their newsletter, dated Jan/Feb/Mar, 1998, they reveal that Pope John Paul II allowed a Shiva priestess to create the traditional Shiva mark on his forehead. Of course, this event will cause any person to sit up and take notice, those of us who literally believe Biblical prophecy. In the Book of Revelation, the False Prophet, the leader of the new global religion of Antichrist, causes all people in the world to take a mark, either in the forehead or in the right hand. Therefore, it is a big deal when a Pagan priestess causes a mark to be made in the forehead of the Pope!

It seems some Christians are in bed with some Hindus in their hatred of Catholicism. Except that they would probably hate each other.

Only the Catholics love them both, but are also maligned by both.

It’s not easy to be a Catholic…

Haha, what a bunch of conspiracy twaddle. I hope this is not the official position of any Church and just some internet nutjob Christian that the Church would distance themselves from by lightyears

There are many–not most–but a reasonably large minority of Christians who say that the Catholic Church is not Christian but is pagan, that they worship idols, that they are the “Whore of Babylon” of the Book of Revelation, etc.

I used to believe some of that myself.

But when you say that Christians are persecuting Hindus, it could be the same ones who are persecuting Catholics too. This is one of the sad results of the Reformation–Christian sects that have only the Bible as their authority, and who interpret it as they see fit.

If you think you Catholics have it worse than us Hindus…I can’t help you. We’ve been getting trash from all Christians (Catholics too Thomas) and Muslims for centuries. Surya Deva and I have already elucidated about what kind of **** we have received.

Other than that, I would much prefer Catholics than Protestants.

I know a couple of Protestants who have told me things like: I would go to Hell, I worship stones (and you worship a corpse necrophiliac, I responded), derailed Jews for not believing the NT in the middle of a video clip about the Holocaust, etc, etc…

I have also heard similar things from Catholics…but to a lesser extent.

That doesn’t mean Catholics love them both, Thomas. All Christians scorn other religions to different degrees. Mutual respect is the domain of Eastern faiths.

As for the article…really depressing. My hope for the redemption of Christians (in their hate mongering ways) has decreased drastically.

Apparently, so do Hindus.

I must not be a Christian. There are so many things “all Christians” believe, do, say, or feel that doesn’t apply to me, and many others I know.
Apparently, so do Hindus.
Lol, all of them? I daresay most Hindus have the simple-minded views on the validity of other “paths” that you would normally expect. However, the number of the younger generation of Hindus who think similar to the way Surya Deva and I do is growing. Thank goodness it is happening…Hindus have been trampled upon by Christians and Muslims for far too long.

Well yes. For example, all Christians have a feeling of superiority when it comes to their religion. Even you Thomas, though you’re the most “tolerant” Christian I know, once admitted this to me.

I said that?

There’s a difference between believing my religion to be correct vs a feeling of superiority.

Of course you know this because of some divine gift bestowed on you by some god or other.

I say we begin a movement and dissolve all religions, and begin to worship you. You certainly seem to have all the answers and an intellect that is far superior to any Jellystone Park bear.

I can’t even express what a kick I got out of that article. I loved watching Pope John Paul II trying to institute all those reforms in the church & all my Catholic friends squirming and arguing about it…

Dress it up how you will, but believing only your religion is correct is still not the same as mutually respecting them.

That Christians have a sense superiority is a FACT. Christians by religion and DEFINITION believe their religion is superior or the only correct one.

Oh noes!!! Shiva has a male…AND FEMALE ASPECT! Hinduism is clearly Satan’s work! At that point in the article, I burst out laughing harder then ever. I am glad we both could find something to agree on.

Well said.

And how stupid and arrogant for anyone to think they could possibly be superior to Hindus.
