It worked for me Pandara. Not sure what happened when you tried.

You hit the Report Post, then got the comment box, when you hit send what did you see?

Every member should be able to Report Post, not just moderators.

Also, I soft deleted it as I think it is spam. You can still access it by hitting view.

Hi Alix,

the moment I hit the sent button another box appeared telling me I am not authorised to report a post and that I must contact the administrator.

Can we perhaps create a practice post to test this as this is a tool I need to use especially in the beginning when I am not sure what action should be taken.

OK Pandara, you should not be getting that message at all. Every member on the boards should be able to Report a post if they need to so the fact that a Moderator is getting an error message is cause for some concern.

Please attempt to report this post of mine and tell me what you see. If you still get an error message we will have to ask David for assistance.

I hit the report post, I typed my message, hit send report and this was the message:

Pandara, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:[ol]
[li]Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else’s post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?[/li][li]If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.[/li][/ol]

Nichole, can you try reporting one of the posts in this thread and see what message you get? (And I do hope you were able to modify things so the report post function is no longer bothersome for you)

Gotta try reporting a post, myself.

…Yep, no error messages.

… And the new thread showed up.
