I have not got the direct experience using Shakti mat, but I saw with my eyes, how glued nails were falling down form it after first use, or after caring it around form one place to another. Also I dislike the fact, that the inner material is synthetic, which does not allow your body to breath and circulate normally while lying on this mat. Personally I am using Pranamat Eco. It is made only from natural materials, and the hips, which are made in a shape of lotuses are NOT glued, but placed on the linen cover by special technology. Also the filling is made of coconut, but not from Polypropylene, as in Shakti Mat. I have a very sensitive skin, so the product’s material that I am using on my skin has to be 100% natural and allergic free, which is proposed by Pranamat. Prices of Pranamat are a bit higher in comparison with all other mats, but as for me, I’d better pay once for the product that will last a fortune, rather than to buy cheap mats with synthetic materials, that will last me for 3 days.
