i am heading to india again at the end of november–only for a month this visit–but i would like to be off line as much as possible then. for day-to-day, i would like to be able to contribute here again as a member as i used to. as i have shared with mary, i have a rsi (repetitive strain injury) i am healing while also writing a lot. i haven’t had enough reserves in my hand banks to moderate and contribute. what do you think about being another mod, now or soon? this forum doesn’t not get a lot of traffic, but we do get our fair share of spam within that. i am not sure how much you both want to be moderating, so i am also not sure if we will need another mod now. we could wait for a month or so, and discuss again then?

also, who? gordon does not want the job. my next recommendation would be willem–a long-time member, a sound yogi and a graduate of mukunda’s too. this make it easier for me to transition out which needs to happen at some near-future point.

please share your thought when you have a moment, and a thought.

So, here is an example of a reported post. It goes to a special forum so we can all look at the issue and comment on it.

Works really well at other places I moderate. Just a thought for you all.

I must dash and feed my children. I will be back soon.

That’s so sweet – live links to the users involved and the thread involved: that’s everything.

Hi Alix,

thanks for this, I also received an email during the course of the day informing me that this post has been reported with an explanation why etc. A very useful tool and will sure use it more in future.

I know! I love this feature. We have recently started using it on another board I moderate and what a timesaver it is. I love it. We use it for everything. Most stuff doesn’t need immediate action (unless its real profanity or trolling or something) so this feature gets us all on board with action.
