Hello Dream Yogi,
What a lovely experience you are having of your own self.
Without being able to speak with you directly about your experience, I would like to speak generally about tingling and similar sensations being, in many situations, a clearing of nadis or a granthi, due to consistent and committed practice. Perhaps this is what is happening for you, perhaps it is not, though your own teacher should be able to speak with you about your experience and offer you honest insight into.
As to your question for the point of yoga and pranayama to create an experience of “mega prana a supreme tingly experience,” well, no teachers or texts that I have studied from have indicated that there are any goals to yoga practice other than to know the true nature of the Self. All the rest is simply practices, tools and techniques for this ultimate goal of Self.
Experiencing your personal prana, your prana vayus, and the larger Prana that enlivens the world, is a beautiful gift. You can take this experience deeper by creating in yourself a place that holds the prana, where prana is not lost to you. And perhaps this is your experience already. If you are interested in specific practices that teaches one to go beyond the initial experiences of personal prana, and onto directing it for healing and for spiritual connection with others, my teacher has 18 lessons that he offers to anyone whom asks for them, and at no cost. His name is Mukunda Stiles and his website is: http://yogatherapycenter.org.
All happiness,
Nichole
