No apologies needed.
Nothing to be “sorry” about.
The board is global and it is kind of those from other countries to write in English.
The nature of kundalini, and its questions are, in my mind, best left to very experienced, senior teachers. I believe kundalini energy to be very powerful and like all powerful tools it is not to be triffled with. I have not raised kundalini in my pranayama practice and I’m uncertain as to whether pranayama is utilized to do such a thing (raise Kundalini). I do not do it for such a purpose. If it is not the purpose of pranayama to raise kundalini and during pranayama kundalini rises it may be shaktipat (as you’ve defined it) or it may be “accidental” (as much as any yogi even believes in accidental).
Different pranayam techniques have different purposes otherwise there would just be one. But I am not really keen on pranayama where anyone who wanders into the ashram sits down to raise kundalini through it. I find it to be unethical to teach beginners how to do such things as they do not have a foundation for the work and it can therefore have very serious repercussions.
If I am approached by students inquiring about Kundalini energy then I want to know the nature of their inquiry. Why are they asking about such things and with what purpose? Further, I would advise my students not to venture into concern over kundalini until they’ve got a very solid foundation of yoga asana practice with proper alignment of the physical body.
Others who may teach differently in the realms of prana and kundalini, I would imagine, advise their students according to their teaching.
